Seth Krum, D.O.

Dr. Krum is a graduate of The University of Miami with a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry.  He received his medical degree at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in 1989.  Dr. Krum completed his internship at Metropolitan Hospital in Philadelphia and his residency in orthopedic surgery at Mill Creek Hospital in Erie, Pennsylvania.  He is licensed by The Pennsylvania State Board of Medicine.  Dr. Krum is certified with The American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery and was recertified in 2006. 

Dr. Krum’s professional appointments include the chairmanship for the Standard Setting Committee of The American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery at the National Board of Medical Examiners.  He also serves on The Osteopathic Orthopedic Continuous Certification Committee.  He has been a team physician for division one college athletics as well as local high school programs.  Dr. Krum practices general orthopedic surgery and specializes in arthroplasty (joint replacement) and arthroscopic reconstructive surgery.  His practice includes the evaluation and treatment of pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients. 

His professional memberships include The Pennsylvania and Philadelphia Orthopedic Societies, Arthroscopic Association of North America, American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, and The American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. 

Dr. Krum is a partner in the practice of Pennsylvania Orthopedic Associates and has staff privileges at The Holy Redeemer Hospital and Medical Center in Meadowbrook, Pennsylvania, and The Huntingdon Valley Surgical Center.
